With a surge in psychological harm cases before the Employment Court and Employment Relations Authority, this webinar is an opportunity to unpack the current state of psychological safety at work and the leader's role in fostering a psychologically safe work environment.
Join Myriam Mitchell, Partner from Ashcroft Mitchell McGregor and Aaron Guilfoyle, Practice Leader from MacDonnells Law in Australia
Myriam and Aaron will outline how employers can set themselves and their employees up for success when it comes to leading mental wellbeing at work.
Myriam will unpack the current state in the Employment Court and ERA in New Zealand which is currently seeing a large increase in psychological harm cases, and an uptick in the level of compensation awards for employees. She will also outline what lessons employers can take from this, and how to best ensure you're not only complying with the Health and Safety at Work Act and the Employment Relations Act but also creating a work environment which enables people to thrive.
Aaron will join us from Brisbane in Australia, to provide an update on how employers are managing new Work Health and Safety (WHS) Regulations and what New Zealand organisations can learn from this experience.
