2025 Dashboard

Our second Health, Safety and Wellbeing Dashboard, taken from a survey of 139 CEOs and their teams, has been released, highlighting some key areas:

  • Nearly half of respondents are reporting a greater number of mental wellbeing incidents than the year prior
  • 38% reported fewer serious work incidents in the same period
  • 80% of CEOs and their teams who took part report that they're involving their workers and their representatives in conversations about health, safety and wellbeing more than six times a year
  • A slight decrease on the year before on the number of organisations that have developed lag and lead indicators in their health and safety reporting.

“This is the second year the Forum has run its CEO survey and while the data is self-reported it is showing that 85% indicated they had fewer or no change to the number of serious work accidents in the past year,” says Forum Chief Executive Francois Barton.

2024 Dashboard

The Forum's annual survey results from March 2024 shows some key health and safety performance highlights and areas of focus for organisations. 

  • 51% had fewer serious work incidents
  • 53% had a greater number of work-related mental wellbeing incidents
  • 79% of organisations are involving their workers and reps in H&S conversations six or more times a year
  • 75% of organisations have developed a suite of lead and lag indicators.
