Webinar, 10 February 2026
Following on from our webinar in August 2025 on crisis leadership, the Forum has asked Dave Gawn, CEO of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) to return to provide a deeper overview of New Zealand’s natural hazard landscape and the work leaders need to do to prepare for major disruption.
Dave will run through New Zealand’s risk profile as well as major global risks, such as space weather, which have the potential to have an enormous impact on New Zealand.
This will be an opportunity to gain a greater understanding of where the risks lie, and how your Executive team and Board should be thinking about major disruption not just to your people and organisation but also to your wider supply chains.

Coming up in 2026
The Forum is working with NEMA to develop a half-day scenario/exercise for senior leaders to get a deeper understanding of how a major event in New Zealand will play out and affect their organisations and wider supply chains. More information on this will be available in early 2026.
