US-based human performance expert and H&S communicator, Dr Todd Conklin, returned to New Zealand in October 2025 and spoke to a room full of C-suites in Auckland.

In August 2025, the Forum organised a field trip for 20 Forum CEOs to spend a day at Rio Tinto | New Zealand Aluminium Smelter, to see firsthand the scale and complexity of this iconic site at Tiwai. 

25 Forum members, including CEOs and senior leaders, spent a full day with Methanex senior leaders, toured the facility, and heard how catastrophic risks are managed by 'keeping the tiger in the cage'. 

In April 2024, the Forum organised a fieldtrip for Forum leaders to see first-hand Coca-Cola Europacific Partners’ world-class robotics innovation.

The Forum’s Chief Executive, Francois Barton, ran a virtual call in September 2024, to discuss the Minister of Workplace Relations and Safety’s health and safety consultation and the submission process.

In November 2024, Forum CEOs took a tour of WM New Zealand’s heavy EV conversions and repair workshop dedicated to converting diesel trucks into electric vehicles – which is New Zealand’s first.

Our December 2024 webinars looking at the lessons for CEOs and Directors from the Maritime v Gibson verdict attracted a record-high attendance of more than 300 participants per webinar.
