Annual Summit: Thriving workplaces - leadership lessons from Australia and NZ
You’re invited to the Forum’s first major in-person Summit for more than a year!
CEOs from across the Forum and around the world are increasingly seeing work flexibility and physical workplace design as opportunities to imagine a better, different and more resilient future. Two years of hybrid and flexible working arrangements mean ‘getting back to normal’ is simply not possible.
Many leaders are grasping the shift in mindset now needed to create the space and culture to “co-design” thriving workplaces. Rather than seeing flexible work and workplaces as an “HR or H&S function” – thriving workplaces is a leadership belief that work flexibility provides an opportunity to support organisational and personal resilience, improve worker attraction and retention and realise enduring productivity improvements.
Connect and learn with Forum peers and Australian colleagues
This Summit is a chance to connect with fellow Forum peers and Australian colleagues on how leaders and organisations are stepping into this new reality, including:
• hearing from Yarra Valley Water in Victoria about how it leveraged its leadership, culture and courage to adopt hybrid working as “the way we work now”. We will learn how it developed its “ Hybrid Playbook” as a key plank of its new way of working, but more importantly the critical foundations that made starting this shift possible,
• the leadership mindset required to create the space, vision and traction for change, and
• sharing your thoughts on what a Thriving Workplace Playbook should look like – in your business, and across our eco-system of almost 400 businesses.
This will be the first gathering of Forum members since we released our new 10-year strategy and our vision of Leaders building cultures that enable people and businesses to thrive. This Summit is an applied opportunity to explore how we as CEOs and senior leaders both challenge and support each other in translating that new vision into action, to create clarity about the future we want.
As a Forum CEO you’re welcome to bring along other senior leaders in your ecosystem who both support your leadership, and can also contribute to making this a valuable and engaging event - whether from your board, leadership team or supply chain.
The event will run from 3.00pm-5.00pm, followed by drinks and canapes.
